The Joint Board on Science and Technology
Cooperation supports the Joint Research Grants, Junior Scientists Development
Visit Grants, and technical Workshops that bring together American and Egyptian
scientists under the U.S. - Egypt Joint Science and Technology Fund.
The Joint Board provides scientific and
technical oversight of Joint Fund activities. This includes selecting grant
awardees from the peer-reviewed Joint Research proposals, selecting Junior
Scientists and workshops. In addition, two program administrators based in
Cairo, Egypt, manage the daily activities of this program.
